The Epiphone Les Paul Custom PRO is a guitar that is dressed to impress. Following the initial success of the Les Paul Goldtop, the Custom was introduced in 1954 in solid black, and white models, to blend well with a tuxedo - the common attire of professional performers. Les Paul's own Custom became one of the most recognised in the world, featuring prominently in shows, TV performances, and on collaborations with his old friend Chet Atkins.

This model recreates that charm by including customary Les Paul touches, alongside modern appointments to meet the requirements of today's guitarists. The foundation of the Les Paul tone starts in the body. The Epiphone Les Paul Custom PRO features the classic tonewood combination of mahogany back married to a maple veneer top. The mahogany generates a roaring mid to low-end power, which creates a swell of sustain. The maple veneer cuts through the mahogany's tone to ensure the signal sizzles with the utmost clarity.

Fitted in the neck position is a ProBucker 2 humbucker, in the bridge is a ProBucker 3 humbucker. Each pickup has an individual tone control, and a 3-way pickup selector switch enables you to select either/or both at the same time. The ProBuckers offer a huge range of tones to play with, so whatever style of music you play, finding the perfect sound is easily achievable.
